Boat Ramp Closure for Maintenance Dredging Works

Details:

Mariners are advised that the Queenscliff Boat Ramp at approximate location 38°15.788’S, 144°39.839’E (WGS84) has been closed for maintenance dredging works undertaken by Better Boating Victoria.
Dredging works will be carried out with the use of a cutter suction dredge, with dredged material deposited on Swan Island eastern beach. On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are advised of the closure and to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
