St Leonards Beach - Maintenance Dredging & Beach Renourishment

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works north east of St Leonards harbour at approximate location 38˚09.895’S, 144˚44.466’E (WGS84).

Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge. Dredged material will be transported via pipeline and deposited on beaches adjacent to St Leonards Salt Lagoon.

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are reminded to navigate within the designated speed limit and exercise caution within the vicinity of the dredging works.
