Kananook Creek Mouth - Maintenance Dredging Works Extended

Date:

Friday 10 September to Friday 17 September 2021, weather permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised that the regular maintenance dredging works to be undertaken by Frankston City Council in the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance, at approximate location 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E (WGS84) have been extended due to poor weather.

Dredging works will be carried out with a long reach excavator. Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent Frankston beach.

Plant and equipment will be stored ashore during the works.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and within the designated speed when in the vicinity of the works.
