Boat Ramp Maintenance Dredging

Monday 27 September 2021 until further notice

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works at Rye Boat Ramp and access channel, at approximate location 38°22.093’S, 144°49.236’E (WGS84).
Dredging works will be carried out with the use of a cutter suction dredge, with dredged material deposited on an adjacent beach to the east of Rye pier. On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
