Mordialloc Creek – Accessible Pontoon Berthing Set-Aside Areas Established

Details:

Mariners are advised that Set Aside areas have been established to restrict Berthing activity at the recently constructed accessible pontoon, located within Mordialloc Creek at approximate location 3800.595’S, 14505.132’E (WGS84). The restrictions apply at all times and are outlined in the  table on the attachment.


Berthing Set Aside No. 1
The south facing length of the pontoon, parallel to the creek bank.
1. 30 minutes maximum berthing time
2. Vessel must be attended at all times

Berthing Set Aside No. 2
The east facing length of the pontoon, perpendicular to the creek bank.
1. 1 hour maximum berthing time
2. Vessel may be left unattended


Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Mordialloc Creek

Relevant Law:

These Set Aside areas in which berthing is restricted have been established under Regulation 12(c) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015.
