Mentone Beach - Temporary Extension of No Vessel Zone

Details:

Mariners are advised that the ‘No Vessels Zone’ located adjacent to and between Mundy Street and Napier Street at Mentone Beach, has been temporarily extended 100 metres to the south. The temporary extension has been marked by a sign located on the beach at approximate location (WGS84) 37° 59.392’S, 145° 03.648’E, and a temporary unlit special mark buoy at approximate location (WGS84) 37° 59.498′S, 145° 03.564′E.Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the No Vessels Zone.

Relevant Law:

The No Vessels Zone has been established under the Marine Safety Act 2010.
