Boat Ramp Maintenance Dredging

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works undertaken by the Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee of Management at the Point Richards boat ramp, at approximate location (WGS84) 38°06.510’S, 144°37.800’E.

Dredging works will be carried out with the use of a cutter suction dredge, with dredged material to be placed on the adjacent beach to the east. On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
