Mornington Life Saving Club Swim Carnival

Date:

Sunday 12 December 2021 between 0600hrs and 1700hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a lifesaving carnival in the vicinity of Mornington Life Saving Club, during the times nominated above.
An exclusion zone will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):
1. 38° 12.714’S, 145° 2.512’E 2. 38° 12.683’S, 145° 2.617’E
The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the exclusion zone during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared exclusion zone.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under the Marine Safety Act 2010 Section 208(2). Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
