Wave Monitoring Station Lit Special Mark Buoy Missing

Details:

Mariners are advised that the lit special mark buoy with characteristics Fl.(Y).2.5s, marking a wave monitoring station installed in the vicinity of Indented Head at approximate location 38˚08.156’S, 144˚45.184’E (WGS84), is currently missing.
The wave monitoring station currently has a red buoy attached and has its own light, but it may be more difficult to see.
The buoy and light will be reinstated as soon as practicable.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when within the vicinity of the wave monitoring buoys.
