Elwood Beach – Triathlon Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 27 February 2022 between 0700hrs and 1030hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a triathlon swim event at Elwood Beach during the times nominated above.

Multiple swim races will occur off the beach in a set aside area which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37° 53.476’S, 144° 58.999’E 2. 37° 53.428’S, 144° 58.972’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event during the date and times nominated above and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
