Frankston Waterfront Festival - Water Sports Event

Date:

Sunday 10th April 2022 between 1200hrs and 1700hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a water sports event in the vicinity of Frankston Beach, during the times nominated above.

An exclusion zone will exist around the event area, between the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38°08.685’S, 145°06.818’E 2. 38°08.600’S, 145°06.871’E

The event area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by Frankston Coast Guard Officials.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the exclusion zone during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared exclusion zone.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under the Marine Safety Act 2010 Section 208(2). Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
