Hastings Boat Ramp and Yacht Club Maintenance Dredging Works – Updated Start Date

Thursday 12 May 2022 until further notice

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works at Hastings Boat Ramp, and the adjacent Hastings Yacht Club jetty area, at approximate location: 38˚18.580’S, 145˚11.900’E (WGS84).
Dredging works will be carried out with the use of a cutter suction dredge. Dredged material will be deposited by pipeline to an area outside of Hastings Bight, in waters of North Arm, to the south of Long Island Point. A Barge will be temporarily installed at the deposit site, at approximate location: 38˚18.960’S, 145˚13.680’E (WGS84).
On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
