Sandringham Harbour – Harbour Entrance & Marina Access Dredging Works

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works around the entrance to
Sandringham Harbour and Sandringham Marina, at approximate location (WGS84):
3756.480’S, 14459.600’E.
A cutter suction dredge will remove sand from around the northern end of the
breakwater including the marina entrance. A submerged pipeline will transport
sand to an onshore disposal site east of the harbour
Access through the marina entrance will remain open but may be restricted for
short periods during these works.
On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the
works will be marked as per IALA standards.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the works, pass
the dredge only when safe to do so on the double diamond side.
