Pier Temporary Closures for Maintenance Works

Details:

Mariners are advised that Portsea Pier, at approximate location (WGS84) 38˚19.073’S, 144˚42. 798’E will be temporarily closed during weekdays to facilitate maintenance works. The pier will be open to vessels and foot traffic during weekends while the works are under way, however some restrictions will remain in place to maintain public safety.

The works will be undertaken with the use of divers, barges, and work boats. When divers are operating, a white and blue flag (Alpha) will be displayed in accordance with international standards.

Mariners are advised of the temporary closures and to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
