Sorrento Pier Maintenance Works

Date:

Monday 17 October until further notice.

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance works to Sorrento Pier, at approximate location: 38° 20.140’S, 144° 44.750’E (WGS84). For public safety, works areas at the western low landing and eastern arm will be temporarily closed to the public.
The western low landing will be closed from Monday 17 October until approximately Friday 28 October 2022. The inner end of this low landing will reopen as soon as practicable, as works are completed.
The eastern low landing will remain open throughout the works, provided no unforeseen safety issues arise.
The works will be undertaken with the use of divers, barges, and work boats. When divers are operating, a white and blue flag (Alpha) will be displayed in accordance with international standards.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of Sorrento Pier.
