Artificial Reef Installation Works at The Dell Complete and Buoys Installed

Details:

Mariners are advised that the installation works for concrete artificial reef modules, installed at The Dell in the vicinity of Clifton Springs are now complete. The reef modules have been installed in a linear array approximately 60 metres off The Dell Boardwalk, and will be submerged or semi submerged in shallow water.
Two Lit Special mark buoys with characteristics Fl.Y.5s, mark the eastern and western extents of the artificial reef, installed at the following approximate locations (WGS84):
1. 38°09.068’S, 144°33.869’E 2. 38°09.052’S, 144°33.897’E.
Mariners are advised to obey speed limits and navigate with caution within the vicinity of The Dell, as multiple submerged and semi submerged hazards exist in the broader area.
