Chelsea Beach – No Vessel Marker Pile No. A78 failed and temporary No Vessel Buoy installed

Details:

Mariners are advised that the No Vessel Marker Pile No. A78 at approximate location 38° 03.316’S, 145° 06.692’E (WGS84) has failed and is non-operational.

There may be submerged hazards in the area resulting from the failed pile.

A temporary No Vessel Buoy with the below characteristics and approximate location (WGS84) has been installed:

1. Yellow, Conical shape, unlit, 38° 03.316’S, 145° 06.692’E (WGS84)

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the failed pile.
