Half Moon Bay – BOWS 10km Swim Event - Black Rock Yacht Club

Date:

Sunday 08th January 2023 between 07:00hrs and 11:00hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event during the times nominated above.

The event will occur off the beach in a set aside area which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37°57.860’S, 145°0.495’E 2. 37°58.150’S, 145°0.617’E

3. 37°57.855’S, 145°0.583’E

The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event officials.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
