Portsea to Point Nepean - Portsea Swim Classic Event

Date:

Saturday 21 January 2023 between 0700hrs and 1800hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event being held in the nearshore area between

Portsea Camp Oval, at approximate location 38°19.080’S, 144°43.043’E (WGS84)

and the beach to the west of Jarman Oval, Point Nepean at approximate location

38°18.490’E 144°41.210’E (WGS84).

Marker buoys will be in place to delineate the course. Marshal vessels will be in

place at several locations assisting with the management and safety of the event.

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution in the vicinity of the swim

events and observe signage and directions from event officials.
