Port Campbell Bay - Twelve Apostles Plunge Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 5 February 2023 between 1000hrs and 1500hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event within Port Campbell Bay during the times noted above.

An exclusion zone will exist around the competition area, extending 600m from the beach to approximate location 38°37.378’S, 142°59.238’E.

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys in the water and flags on shore, and designated marshal vessels will patrol the event.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the exclusion zone during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared exclusion zone.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under the Marine Safety Act 2010 Section 208(2). Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
