Sandringham Beach – Triathlon Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 12 February 2022 between 0650hrs and 1000hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event at Sandringham Beach during the times nominated above.

Multiple swim races will occur off the beach in a set-aside area which is bounded by the shore and the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37° 56.917’S, 144° 59.643’E 2. 37° 57.127’S, 144° 59.824’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Relevant Law: The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
