Safety Beach to Sorrento

Long Distance Swim Event

Saturday 18 February 2023 0900hrs until 1800hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water long distance swim event occurring between Safety Beach and Sorrento during the times nominated above.

The event is commencing northeast of Safety Beach Boat Ramp at approximate location (WGS84): 38°18.753’S, 144°59.496’E and concluding southwest of Sorrento pier, at approximate location (WGS84): 38°20.279’S, 144°44.653’E.

The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
