Pier to Perignon Swim Event – Amended Date

Date:

Sunday 19 February 2023 between 1100hours and 1400hours

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event between Sorrento and Portsea during the date and times nominated above.

The previous Notice listed an incorrect event date.

The course for this linear near-shore event extends between Sorrento Beach, North-West of the Pier, to Portsea Beach, East of the Pier, at the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38˚20.089’S, 144˚44.670’E 2. 38˚19.087’S, 144˚42.938’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and will be patrolled by event officials.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.
