Powerboat Race Event

Date:

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February 2023 between 12:00 pm and 10:00pm.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a powerboat race event at Werribee South, in the vicinity of Wyndham Harbour during the times nominated above.

Multiple races will occur off Wyndham Harbour in the area marked by buoys and bounded by the locations listed on the attachment.

An exclusion zone will exist around the competition area, and will be in effect from 12.00 pm to 2.50 pm on Saturday 25 February 2023, and 10.00 am to 1.50 pm Sunday 26 February 2023.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the events and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
