Williamstown Open Water Swim Events

Date:

Sunday 5 March 2023 between 0800hrs and 1330hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event during the times nominated above.

A set aside area will exist around the competition course, which is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37˚52.167’S, 144˚53.533’E 3. 37˚52.219’S, 144˚52.937’E

2. 37˚52.104’S, 144˚52.962’E 4. 37˚52.288’S, 144˚53.569’E

The event course will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution in the vicinity of the event and observe signs and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
