West Channel

West Channel Beacon Remediation Works

Date:

21 April 2023 to 15 May 2023, weather permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised that the beacon remediation works at the West Channel, have been extended. The works will include underwater works and are occurring at the locations outlined in the table and shown in the sketch on the attachment, from Beacon No.13 to Beacon No.2.

The installation works will require the use of the following Marine plant:

• Taylia-Rose – Crew transfer

• DSV Matilda Mae – Dive support vessel

• Dangerfield – Work Vessel

Mariners are advised of a temporary public exclusion area of 100 metres with no wake, around each beacon when works are under way.

Mariners are advised to navigate with minimum wash and exercise caution within the vicinity of the works.
