Kirk Point Boat Ramp Temporary Closure for Upgrade Works

Monday 15 May 2023 until further notice

Details:

Mariners are advised that Kirk Point Boat Ramp, at approximate location (WGS84): 38°01.663’S, 144°33.9044’E will be temporarily closed for upgrade works.
The works will involve general construction and demolition activities, and construction of a new rock groyne which will extend from the southern side of the ramp to provide wave protection. The works will be undertaken with excavators, with barges and work boats. On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
