Kananook Creek Entrance - Maintenance Dredging

Date:

Monday 22 May to Friday 26 May 2023, weather permitting.

Details:

Mariners are advised of maintenance dredging works to be undertaken by
Frankston City Council, in the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance, at
approximate location 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E (WGS84).
Dredging works will be carried out by long reach excavator and moxy trucks.
Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent
Frankston beach.
Plant and equipment will be stored ashore during the works.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the works.
Observe signage and follow instructions from the dredging contractor.
