Shoaling – Updated Information

Details:

Mariners are advised that a Lit Starboard Lateral Buoy was previously installed in the vicinity of shoaling at Western Port Eastern Entrance, at approximate location 38° 32.444’S; 145° 21.075’E (WGS84) with characteristics Fl.G.3’s. The buoy was installed to indicate safe passage around shoaling as advised in NTM 347(T)-17.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and closely follow all navigation aids upon entry and departure of Western Port through Eastern Entrance.
