RIP Swim Event

Date:

5 August 2023 from 1030 hrs to 1230 hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised that a swim event will take place (weather dependant) between Point Nepean and Point Lonsdale, through Port Phillip Heads on 5 August 2023 from 1030 hrs to 1230 hrs

Recreational vessels are to navigate with caution when transiting the Fairway through Port Phillip Heads during the course of the swim event, keeping well clear of swimmers and event vessels.

Should the swim event on 5 August 2023 be cancelled due to weather conditions, the swim event will be rescheduled to take place on 6 August 2023. Mariners will be advised by an updated Notice to Mariners.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution during the swim event and are reminded to comply with the requirements of the Vessel

Operating and Zoning Rules for Victorian Waters.
