Kananook Creek - Maintenance Dredging at Creek Entrance

Monday 21 August to Friday 25 August 2023, weather permitting

Details:

Mariners are advised of regular maintenance dredging works to be undertaken by Frankston City Council in the vicinity of Kananook Creek entrance, at approximate location 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E (WGS84). Dredging works will be carried out with a long reach excavator. Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent Frankston beach. Plant and equipment will be stored ashore when not in use during the works. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the designated speed limit and exercise caution within the vicinity of the works.
