Seabed Sampling Operations at Altona and Little River

Date:

Friday 13 October to Wednesday 18 October 2023.

Details:

Mariners are advised of seabed sampling operations occurring in the vicinity of Altona and Little River, at the following approximate locations;

1. Altona: 37°53.697'S, 144°50.100'E (WGS84)

2. Little River: 38°01.327'S, 144°37.341'E (WGS84)

The Sampling operations will be undertaken within the dates nominated above using divers and workboats. When divers are operating, a white and blue flag (Alpha) will be displayed in accordance with international standards.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and create no wash within the vicinity of the sampling operations.
