Port Campbell Bay – Swim Event

Date:

Sunday 3 December 2023 between 1000hrs and 1500hrs.

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event within Port Campbell Bay, for the Port Campbell Surf Life Saving Club Accessible Beach Day during the times noted above.

An exclusion zone will exist around the event area, which is bounded by the shore and buoys at the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38°37.1837'S, 142°59.5438'E 2. 38°37.1837'S, 142°59.5438'E.

The event area will patrolled by designated marshal vessels.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The exclusion zone has been established under the Marine Safety Act 2010 Section 208(2). Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
