Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Trial Operations

Thursday 07 December until Friday 15 December 2023

Details:

Mariners are advised of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) trial operations in the vicinity of Aspendale between the dates noted above.

The trial will involve multiple dives of the AUV, which will be accompanied by a support vessel displaying dive flag Alpha.

The trial will occur in a rectangular area off Aspendale, bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84)

1. 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E 3. 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E

2. 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E 4. 38˚08.739’S, 145˚06.965’E

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the trial.
