Hampton Pier Footprint Submerged Hazards

Details:

Mariners are advised of possible shallow water and submerged rocks and other hazards in the footprint of the previous Hampton Pier within Sandringham Harbour, at approximate location: 37°56.639’S, 144°59.775’E (WGS84).
Recent demolition works to Hampton Pier has now allowed navigation over this area where the pier formerly stood. For more information on the Hampton Pier Rebuild Project, please visit the project page at: https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/projects/melbourne-region/hampton-pier-rebuild-project
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the footprint of the previous pier, as some shallow water and submerged obstructions may exist.
