Frankston Pier – Variable colour light display

Details:

Mariners are advised of a variable colour light display on Frankston Pier, at approximate location 38˚08.733’S, 145˚06.778’E (WGS84).
The existing public lighting which illuminates the pier will remain unchanged. Lighting colours that are significant to navigation may be used, but do not indicate any change to safe navigation in the vicinity of the pier.
The following existing navigation lighting in the vicinity remains unchanged: 1. The Starboard Light on the head of Frankston pier with characteristics Fl(1)G 4s at approximate location (WGS84): 38˚08.725’S, 145˚06.784’E.
2. The lit Special Mark pile to the north of Frankston Pier indicating the position of Kananook Creek, with characteristics Fl(2)Y 4s at approximate location (WGS84): 38˚08.699’S, 145˚06.836’E.
Mariners are advised of the display and to navigate with caution in the vicinity of Frankston Pier.
