Hampton Pier Demolition Works Complete – Updated Information

Mariners are advised that the demolition works to Hampton Pier within Sandringham Harbour, at approximate location: 37°56.639’S, 144°59.775’E (WGS84) have been completed.

The works Exclusion Zone at the previous Hampton Pier demolition works site is no longer required and is now deactivated, as the demolition works are complete. The 9x Exclusion Zone buoys, at locations detailed in NTM 474(T)-23, are unable to be immediately removed. The buoys will remain temporarily in place to mark the area of shallowed water existing on the footprint of the previous pier until demobilisation is completed.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the footprint of the previous pier, as some shallow water and submerged obstructions may exist.
