Frankston Pier Fireworks Display

Saturday 10 February 2024 between 1500hrs and 2330 hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a fireworks display at Frankston Pier during the times nominated above.

The fireworks display will take place from the head of Frankston Pier, at approximate location 38°8.730'S, 145°6.781'E (WGS84).

A 360° set aside area extends for a 200m radius from the head of Frankston Pier and includes the Pier itself. This set aside area is established to ensure public safety in the local port as per WorkSafe requirements relating to safe fallout areas for firework displays.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside area during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared set aside area.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants and Parks Victoria officers.
