Removal of Eastern Boundary Navigation Buoys For Maintenance

Details:

Mariners are advised of the removal of yellow special marks and their synchronised flashing lights surrounding Flinders Aquaculture Reserve for maintenance. Three steel buoys on the eastern boundary have been removed for refurbishment and replaced by temporary, yellow, fibreglass buoys with yellow SL70 lanterns.

1. North-east 38° 27.23'S 145° 4.44'E
2. Mid-east 38° 27.77'S 145° 3.51'E
3. South-east 38° 28.31'S 145° 2.58'E

The navigation buoys will be reinstated, when practical and weather permitting, upon completion of refurbishment.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when navigating within the vicinity of the reserve.
