Black Rock Jetty - Black Rock Jetty Demolition of first 40 meters

2 – 7 July 2024

Details:

Mariners are advised of demolition works being undertaken at Black Rock Jetty at approximate location 37° 58.150’S 145° 0.580’E (WGS84). The demolition works will remove the first 40 meters of the jetty. Works are weather dependent and will be undertaken between 2 -7 July 2024.
 
The works will be undertaken by barge from the western side of the Jetty.
 
Access to Black Rock Boat Ramp will be unaffected.
                                                 
Mariners are advised that Black Rock Jetty including the lower landing will be closed to vessels. Alternative berthing is available along the council catwalk adjacent to the boat ramp.
 
Mariners are advised to take care when navigating the area and stay clear of works and associated equipment.
