San Remo Bridge – Inspection and Underwater Operations

Sunday 01 September until Saturday 30 November 2024

Details:

Mariners are advised of inspection and dive survey works occurring on each of the San Remo Bridge piles, position 38°31.113’S, 145°21.862’E (WGS84), for the above dates. International Code Flag ‘A’ will be flown from the 8.7-metre work boat while divers are in the water. Mariners are reminded of the temporarily reduced air draught beneath San Remo Bridge and current notice controlling navigation requiring all vessels not associated with bridge works to navigate between the open bridge spans marked by lit lateral shapes only. It is a requirement in Victoria to travel at 5-knots or less within 100-metres of a dive flag.
