Williamstown Beach – Victorian Coastal Rowing Challenge

Date:

15 December 2024 between 0600hrs and 1600hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water rowing event at Williamstown Beach during the times noted above.
 
A set aside will exist around the competition area, which will be patrolled by event marshals, and delineated by the beach and marker buoys at the following approximate locations (WGS84):

37°52.063'S, 144°53.365'E              37°52.052'S, 144°53.38'E
37°52.102'S, 144°53.413'E              37°52.082'S, 144°53.42'E
37°52.125'S, 144°53.442'E              37°52.107'S, 144°53.457'E
37°52.16'S, 144°53.485'E                37°52.143'S, 144°53.503'E
 
 
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event participants, officials and Parks Victoria officers.
