Altona Pier – Temporary Closure – Filming Event

From 0500hrs Tuesday 11 March 2025 to 2200hrs Wednesday 12 March 2025

Details:

Mariners are advised of filming activities taking place at the times and dates noted above, on Altona Pier and surrounding waters at the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37°52.4317'S, 144°49.8683'E 2. 37°52.3000'S, 144°49.8600'E

3. 37°52.3033'S, 144°49.7350'E 4. 37°52.4150'S, 144°49.7333'E

The entire pier will be closed, and a set aside will be in place for the duration of filming.

The closure will be defined by on-site signage, entry is prohibited except for Parks Victoria officers and individuals involved in the filming.

The set aside will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event marshals.

Mariners are prohibited from entering the set aside zone during the date and times nominated above and are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the declared set aside zone.
