Multiple Locations - Swimrun Australia: Melbourne 2025 Beaumaris Bay, Edward Beach in Black Rock, Hampton Beach, Green Point to Holloway Beach and Middle Brighton Beach

Details:

Mariners are advised of an open water swim event during the times nominated above.
 
A set aside will exist around the competition area, which is bounded by the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1.       Start: 37°59.4142'S 145°2.6828'E Finish: 37°59.7247'S 145°2.3474'E                    – Beaumaris Bay
2.       Start 37°57.8884'S 145°0.6396'E Finish: 37°57.5348'S 145°0.4980'E                      – Sandringham Beach
3.       Start 37°56.3921'S 144°59.8746'E Finish: 37°56.0822'S 144°59.6638'E                 – Hampton Beach
4.       Start 37°55.5889'S 144°59.1419'E Finish 37°55.4174'S 144°59.1774'E                  – Green Point to Holloway Beach
5.       Start 37°54.6955'S 144°59.0755'E Finish 37°54.5650'S 144°59.0974'E                  – Middle Brighton Beach
 
The event course will be delineated by marker buoys extending approximately 200 metres from shore and patrolled by event marshals.
 
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside area has been established under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding the event officials and Parks Victoria officers.
