Frankston Pier– Major works

Details:

Mariners are advised of major works to Frankston Pier, Frankston at approximate locations: 38°8.7648'S, 145°6.8734'E (WGS84).
                                     
A set-aside area has been established around the construction site,
and will be marked with buoys at the following approximate locations
and as shown in the maps below.
 
1.    38°8.7180'S, 145°6.7699'E
2.    38°8.7415'S, 145°6.7564'E
3.    38°8.7906'S, 145°6.9011'E
4.    38°8.7675'S, 145°6.9117'E
5.    38°8.8057'S, 145°6.9470'E
6.    38°8.7835’S, 145°6.9587'E
 
Works will include the removal and replacement of damaged piles along the pier and will be conducted via a barge.
 
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when navigating within the vicinity of the works and comply with set asides that are in place. No vessels are to enter these zones. 

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11 of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015 entry is prohibited to all persons and vessels excluding the individuals involved in the works and Parks Victoria officers.
