St Kilda

St Kilda Pier – Dredging and low landing works.

Details:

Mariners are advised that demolition works of the former St Kilda Pier at approximate location: 37°51.875’S, 144°58.065’E (WGS84), are now complete.
 
Construction works on the new pier continue, the St Kilda Pier low landing at approximate location 37°51.867'S, 144°58.15'E (WGS84), remains closed during these works.
 
Works include dredging to create navigable access to the low landing and the installation of fenders.

Marine exclusion zones referred to in the previous notices above remain in place.  These zones are delineated by exclusion buoys and signage when active.

Mariners are advised not to enter the Set Aside works area, and to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the works.
 

Relevant Law:

The area has been set aside under the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015. Entry is prohibited to all persons excluding works vessels and staff.
