Bates Point Aquaculture Fisheries Reserve - Permanent Removal of Navigation Aids

8 May 2025, weather permitting

Details:

Mariners are advised of the permanent removal of four special mark buoys

lit with characteristics Fl(4)Y.12s, marking the Bates Point Aquaculture

Fisheries Reserve, at the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 38°05.451'S, 144°27.303'E 2. 38°05.459'S, 144°27.645'E

3. 38°05.722'S, 144°27.294'E 4. 38°05.729'S, 144°27.636'E

The removal of the Navigation Aids follows removal of all aquaculture

equipment within the reserve.
