Temporary Mooring Ground – Established.

Wednesday 15 May to 30 June 2025.

Details:

Mariners are advised of temporary moorings being utilised by Port of Melbourne contractors at the following approximate location: 38° 18.845’S, 144° 42.575’E (WGS84), to the south of Portsea Hole. Barges and work boats will be moored for approximately 7 weeks as part of beacon remediation works in the South Channel. All on-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising will be marked as per IALA standards. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the mooring ground.
