Black Rock Yacht Club - Winter Solstice Swim Event 2025

Date:

Saturday 21 June 2025 between 1600hrs and 2000hrs

Details:

Mariners are advised of a swim event occurring during the dates and times

nominated above.

The swim event will occur in a set aside area between the Black Rock Jetty and Red

Bluff within the following approximate locations (WGS84):

1. 37°58.1497’S, 145°0.6063’E

2. 37°57.8546’S, 145°0.5836’E

3. 37°57.8599’S, 145°0.4942’E

The competition area will be delineated by marker buoys and patrolled by event

marshals.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the event and

observe signage and directions from event officials.

Relevant Law:

The set aside has been established under Regulation 11(1)(2) of the Port Management (Local Ports) Regulations 2015.
