Clifton Springs Harbour Entrance Obstructed and Maintenance Dredging

Details:

Mariners are advised that seagrass wrack has accumulated at the entrance to

Clifton Springs Harbour and the entrance is currently severely obstructed.

Maintenance dredging works for the entrance to Clifton Springs Harbour will occur

at approximate location: 38°09.275’S, 144°33.213’E (WGS84) beginning on

7 July 2025 until further notice.

The works will be undertaken with the use of a long reach excavator. Plant and

equipment will be stored ashore during the works.

Mariners are advised of the obstruction and to navigate with caution in the

vicinity of the works.
